BABS Bakery is also dedicated to development of Gluten Free products. BABS Bakery believes in advancing the consumers knowledge through education for a healthier lifestyle through food. This is a scratch bakery delivering innovative products for the new millennium.

Hildegard describes mixing cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves in her recommended amounts and then to make each one in a small cake or paste. Then one is to eat them often to calm the bitterness of the heart. She further describes in calming the bitterness of the heart the senses clear. As the senses clear the mind becomes open to the hearts calling of peace. This contributes to good blood and makes one strong.

As a child my sister was known as ‘Bubba,’ however her cousin, who was studying French at the time, thought this was no kind of name for a little girl. Instead, he suggested the French version would be “Bubbaire,” a more sophisticated and appropriate name for a girl, perhaps someday everyone would recognize it as the new French version of Bubba. Now that you understand what the name stands for allow me to tell you what the bakery stands for. This bakery can help the world understand the simplicity in foods in assisting the body, mind and spirit. This actually is God's bakery.
God creates dreams for each of us, and God is waiting to help make dreams come true. God heals the broken-heartedness from the nightmare so a dream may occur and heal anyone involved within the dream. Dreams are formed in a Golden Heart. Furthermore, God gives each of us the opportunity to heal within a Golden Heart. Hildegard Canonization- 2012

Professor Karan Schneider, founder of BABS Bakery, is blessed to be able to bake the way food is, was, and always needs to be created. Unknowingly to Karan, it was pointed out to her by other professors of Hildegard studies, that she began the bakery Dedicated to Hildegard at the same age that Hildegard began her public works. A synchronicity was recognized as more was discussed. Karan dedicated it to Hildegard for the medicinal works and Food Energetics she learned, that also coincided with Ayurveda and Chinese systems. Karan’s cancer was healed through Hildegard’s system. Hildegard is also considered the first medical doctor in Germany. Among her many talents as a nun she was also a philosopher, artist, writer, physicist, medicine and visionary. Many of Hildegard’s teaching are now formally proven to be true, as her medical works within the Hildegard clinic in Germany.

In September 2010, The Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI, extolled Hildegard of Bingen (1098- 1179) a twelfth century mystic, an example to women who exercise true spiritual gifts as a precious role to all women in the richness of their teachings. He mentioned that the manner in which she exercised the ministry of authority remains an example for all religious communities, as she aroused saintly emulation in the practice of good works. The Pope concluded that the individual possessing supernatural gifts never boasts of them, shows off and demonstrates obedience to ecclesiastical authority. Thus, in her time, Hildegard’s spiritual prestige grew to the point that her contemporaries gave her the title of the “Teutonic Prophetess.”

In December 2011, it was news that The Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI, set to appoint Hildegard of Bingen as a Doctor of the Church in October 2012. Thus far, there are 33 Doctors of the Church, and three of them are women. They are St. Theresa the Little Flower, St. Teresa of Avila, and St. Catherine of Sienna.

BABS Bakery is the first, and original bakery dedicated to St. Hildegard von Bingen laying a foundation down to teach Food Energetics bound within a history of truth to healing systems almost buried by mass media to mankind. BABS Bakery was founded in the Fall of 2003 and began the physical manifestation in Spring 2004 by Karan Schneider and Rosemary Kolenich. Their brother, David Kolenich, Ph.D. had great advice and is missed after his death February 25, 2011, but he is still guiding this bakery in heavenly ways. No matter what degree of pain or joy, allow your Golden Heart to shine where it needs to, and wait until you see & feel what it brings back to you! God guides everyone involved in this bakery in a direction we are presently entering in 2012.
